Writer's Block: Change for the Better over a Decade

How are you a better person today than you were ten years ago?

Well, let's see, ten years ago a has bigger than my britches at the ripe old age of 8. I beleive at this time, the love of my life was Luke Skywalker. Star Wars obsessed was my childhood. I wouldn't say that I'm a better person than I was when I was 8. At that age, you are still a child, still blanketed in saftey by your parents, not diseased by outside society. Things were simple then, play and be happy. Now it's work and school, my future, how I am going to survive. I've been changed, I'm less pure. I've done my share of bad things; however, I have my love, my best friend, and my family. I've got my head on straight and I know where I'm going. I just grew up, there were bad moments and happy moments and plenty of sad heartache and puppy love but now, I just enjoy being an adult. I do miss being a child but I can still be a child whenever I want to be. Childhood, in my eyes never goes away, not if you don't want it to. Every adult deserves to be a happy child every now and then. It keeps you going.

feeling music flowing through your body is the best feeling in the world.
Last night i went to see The Hush Sound, This is Me Smiling, This Providence and it was amazing.

This is Me Smiling played first.
They were ok. Darren came out and played tambourin for like 45 seconds during one of their songs.
then This is Me Smiling's lead singer confesed his undying love for darren.
and they dedicated their set to the Hush Sound cause they just found out that they had sold out the TLA. pretty amazing

This Providence was my favorite opening band.
They had a great set.
A couple guys came out on stage and rode around bikes or scooters. the last one to come out and ride a bike on stage was Bob.
Plus i love they way the drummer moves when he plays. I couldnt keep my eyes off of him.

Murder by Death was ok.
The cello and keyboardist was amazing. She really got into it.
Other than her i really didnt like most of their songs. The singer or should i say talker, i dont know i just didnt like it. we ended up sitting down for a while during their set on the floor cause he had been standing for a good 3 hours. I got stepped on and i tripped some people but i really dont care.

The Hush Sound took a while to get on stage.
Once they did though it was amazing.

During Dont Wake Me Up the lead singer from This Is Me Smiling came out and sang Patricks part. Then after he left Bob said after any member from This Is Me Smiling comes out and sings on his microphone his lips burn because theyre so hot.
they had a girl named Sam come out and play they trumpet part on Lions roar, she seemed nervous but she was really good.
They had a goofy dance contest for a free t shirt or a date with Adam (the merch guy whose totally awesome.)
During the last song Adam came out in a cowboy hat with i think the merch guy from Murder by Death in his under wear. Adam gave his cowboy hat to Bob
After their last song adam came back out and had us rap the Fresh Prince of Belair theme song for an Encore. After we did they came back out and Bob rapped a small part of it. and they Played My Apologies and and i dont remember the last song because i was so excited. Bob and Greta announced that they both ate cheestakes yesterday. Chris didnt say anything which made me sad and neither did darren. During the encore however chris's mic wasnt working but then they fixed it. He also came out smoking a ciggarette, which i have to say i find very sexy for some odd reason.

I met Dan from This Providence and I had Adam sign my Hush Sound poster because hes just so awesome because he gave me a free one.

Sadly I didnt get to meet any of The Hush Sound cuz they event staff were assholes and told everybody to get out unless they were buying merch. I tried to stay but this one guy kept yelling at me and my friend so we left.
by this time it was aroung 12 15 so we left cause i had drumcorp meeting this morning at 7:30. On our way home we got lost cause im smart like that. By the time i dropped off my friends and went home it was 2 in the moring and i just fell asleep.

know that i think about it i dont even care i didnt get to meet them atleast i saw them live during their first ever headlining tour.

Also all my picture came out crappy except for the picture of the Sanat Claus that was walking around in the audience and the one of the Hush Sounds Banner.

i bought they necklace which is really pretty and they hoodie that is amazing.

last night was probably the best concert that ive seen in my life. Beating Queen and Paul Rogers. The Hush Sound should be very proud cause i am.
